A Grandmother's Unwavering Love

A grandmother's love for her grandson remains unbroken even after years of separation.

Recently, we had the profound privilege of witnessing a grandmother's reunion with her grandson, whom she hadn't seen since his adoption years ago. Her words captured the depth of a love that had never faded:

"From the first step I took through that door, the moment I saw him, I knew that's my grandson," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "He's grown so beautifully. I still remember the birthmark on his back from when he was just a baby.“

She continued, "I am so touched to see my grandson again. All these years, I've wondered how he was, hoping he was happy and loved. And now, seeing him here, healthy and thriving... it's more than I ever dared to hope for.“

This touching reunion reminds us that adoption doesn't erase family connections; rather, it can expand the circle of love surrounding a child. Birth families carry their love through the years, holding onto hope and memories, while adoptive families provide the nurturing home that allows children to flourish.

The reunion is often profound healing – grandmothers who finally get to see their grandchildren thriving, and children who discover that they were never forgotten, always cherished.
