Foster families play a profoundly important role in shaping a child's life, often in ways that extend far beyond their time together.

Recently, one of our adoptees shared his memory that illustrates the impact. He has a photo album his foster mother had carefully created for him during the months he was in her care. Each page was thoughtfully documented with dates, locations, and descriptions of what they were doing at the time. This album was more than just a collection of photographs; it became a precious link to his earliest months and important part of him. “That was how I imagined the missing part of me" he shared. This story reflects the extraordinary dedication of his foster mother did and her care for him.

At CSS, we are proud to work for the Taipei city government on our Foster Family Project. Through this initiative, we recruit, train, and support foster families who are committed to providing nurturing, loving care for children during times of transition.

Our goal is to ensure that every child who enters foster care through our program experiences the love and care that our adoptee's foster families provided. We hope that care creates positive memories, builds trust, and provides the stable foundation children need to thrive.

Through our training and ongoing support, we strive to equip our foster families with the resources, and encouragement they need to make an important difference in children's lives.
