A New Beginning: From Full-Time Mother to Full-Time Employment

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news—one of the birthmothers we have supported has recently got full-time employment.

Here's a moment from her conversation with our social worker:

Birthmother: “I'm a full-time worker now.”
Social Worker: “That's wonderful news. We're so happy for you that you've worked hard to this. Having stable work brings peace of mind and has better sense of self.”
Birthmother: “It truly does. I was a full-time mother for six years without a job. Looking back, it was overwhelming.”

This mother has faced many difficult challenges. Her husband was involved in drug-related issues, leaving her to care for three young children on her own. With no formal skills or training, finding stable employment once seemed nearly impossible.

For the past six years, she raised her children while taking on part-time jobs whenever she could. We've walked alongside her through those struggles—and today, we celebrate her progress.

We will continue to support and encourage her as she builds a brighter future for herself and her children. Her journey reminds us that with persistence, support, and courage, change is possible.
